About Us
Mezzogiorno was started by Jessica and Giovanni Faraone in 2005. Jessica and Giovanni met when both of them were working at a local pizza shop in Dover, PA. Jessica, a native to York County, and Giovanni, originally from Sicily, Italy, shared the same dream: to one day own a restaurant. When they met, the idea of Mezzogiorno was born.
Mezzogiorno started out as a small stand in the Central Market in downtown York, Pennsylvania, and has turned into a casual restaurant, with both table and counter seating. Mezzogiorno is one of those places that all the locals know about and love. With a crowd of regulars, that just keeps growing, Mezzogiorno is an up and coming restaurant in York.
If you are looking for a healthy salad with the freshest ingredients, or a hearty sub, or a plate full of pasta that will surely warm you up on a cold day, Mezzogiorno is the place for you.
